Thank you, God, for your angels
And for the angels in human form
Who rush to help us
When we are in need

Thank you for your blessings
That you shower upon us
And for the blessings
That we may offer to others

Thank you for the bright lights
That illumine this season of joy
Thank you for the darkness,
So we may pause and honor
All sadness and grief within

Thank you for family and friends
With whom we celebrate
And for the reminder that others
Are alone and sad

Thank you for innumerable gifts
That we open with happy smiles
And for the many gifts
We can give others in need

Thank you for your love
That You offer so freely
So we may shine and
Share that love all around
